Anybody ordered a scandal?

On 23 May, scandal is brewing at the In the Game Theatre - not just one scandal, but ten of them at once! This is no rumor. Audiences will witness a tremendous Sochi theatre season show: “Anybody Ordered a Scandal?”. This is a popular comedy inspired by Chekhov’s early comic stories. Ten ironic tales are woven into a single performance starring a true constellation of actors.

Everybody knows that a scandal never comes from nowhere. It is always a knot of tightly tangled events. This show combines some of Chekhov’s best stories: ten jokes, ten stories of squabbles and bickering will be brought to life at the In the Game Theatre. Yet this is the kind of scandal that makes you wipe tears (only of laughter) from your eyes and exclaim, “Well, I never!” Anton Chekhov was renowned as a connoisseur of sophisticated humor who could always see the comical of anything routine.
