Pushkin Poker Weekend
On 6 June, Russia celebrates the 225th anniversary of its greatest poet, Alexander Pushkin, and the Sochi Poker Club invites all poker fans to mark the date at the poker tables.
The Pushkin weekend mini festival will be held on 6-9 June, featuring six inexpensive tournaments. Each references Alexander Pushkin’s life and works: the warm-up Queen of Spades, the knockout tournament Pushkin v. d’Anthès, the inexpensive Bronze Horseman, The Fateful Duel progressive bounty tournament and the fest’s main event – the Onegin Tournament.
The results of the Pushkin Weekend will count toward the Club’s Top Player leaderboard. All participants taking part in the mini-series will also be able to receive substantial additions to their starting stack (5,000 chips, mind you!) if they can recite by heart, without any hitch, one of Pushkin’s poems.

We are 45 km from Sochi International Airport, a drive of 30–40 minutes. Take the E97 motorway towards Krasnaya Polyana and the Krasnaya Polyana resort. Follow the route for 42 km to the resort of Krasnaya Polyana. You may leave your car on the open unguarded parking lot. Parking fees for guests are charged at the rates of the Krasnaya Polyana resort.
