May Day Poker

It is already Sochi Poker Club’s tradition to hold a small tournament series during the May holidays. Why don’t you join in!

Each day on 1–12 May, the Club will hold short, inexpensive tournaments with buy-ins ranging from c.u. 75 to c.u. 770. Almost all of them will be just one-day long, and 12–15 minute levels will not drag out the game. There’ll be poker during the day and entertainment in the evening.

Krasnaya Polyana always offers a wide range of events for the May holidays and everyone will find something to their taste: restaurants, concerts, master classes, exhibitions and many other cool and exciting things. And an equally great choice awaits at the poker tables!

May Day Poker will feature classical tournaments: no limits hold‘em, turbo tournaments, tournaments with a bigger starting stack, with awards for knocking out rivals. Knockout tournaments take up half the tournament schedule; lovers of bounty hunting can try their hand at the traditional format with a 50% payout for each rival knocked-out, at progressive knockout, and even progressive superknockout, when 2/3 of the buy-in is paid out for a single knockout.

The main May Day Poker tournament will be held on 8–11 May. A buy-in of c.u. 550, three starting flights on 8–10 May, and the second day of finals on 11 May. Days 1А–1С will have 25-minute levels, while the final day time-banks will increase the levels to half an hour.

May Day Poker players will contend for both prize payouts and for points on the year-long “Top Club Player” leaderboard. This is one of the few series when you can jack up your rating. Points are scored in the same way as in weekly tournaments: the more players in the tournament and the higher a player’s ranking, the more points they will score toward the Top Club Player title.
