On August 6, the Sochi Casino stage will be filled with an atmosphere of absolute tenderness, elegance, and radiant nostalgia. That evening, guests will be treated to a performance by one of the most refined and beloved artists of the Russian pop scene – the inimitable Alsou.

Alsu began her musical career incredibly early, even by the standards of today's pop stars. Born in the Republic of Tatarstan, she was passionate about music from childhood, and her talent quickly gained recognition. In 1998, her songs "Winter Dream" and "Sometimes" instantly captivated audiences. And yet, the singer was only 15 years old at the time. In 2000, she proudly represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest, taking a respectable second place with her English-language track "Solo." The singer essentially grew up on stage and a busy schedule, proving that it is possible to remain a superstar without outrageousness or high-profile scandals. Alsou has won 14 Song of the Year and Golden Gramophone awards, the titles of Honored Artist of Russia and People's Artist of the Republics of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, and has released successful albums in several languages.
